Uranium Atlas now in French
For our French and Francophone friends, the Uranium Atlas has now been published in French.
The Uranium Atlas literally maps the use of uranium across the globe, from mining to its use for nuclear power and nuclear weapons as well as the lethal waste trail it has left behind.
First published in German, the English version came out in 2020. It is a publication of the Nuclear Free Future Foundation. Copies are also available in Italian and a version is to be published in Czech.
The inescapable conclusion of the Uranium Atlas in any language is that the uranium pathway has led us down a slippery slope — to nuclear weapons, nuclear power, and long-lived radioactive waste, and to global discrimination against Indigenous peoples and communities of color.
