Reference Girl

Current radiation exposure standards leave less radiation resistant children, pregnancy, and females poorly protected because they are based on an outdated model of damage known as Reference Man. Beyond Nuclear and Gender and Radiation Impact Project are embarking upon a public process to draft the definition for a new reference individual, Reference Girl, that will serve to increase protection for everyone.
