Nuclear-Free Future Award open for candidates
The historic Nuclear-Free Future Award will be held again later this year and you can nominate a candidate to win. The award is offered in three categories — Resistance, Education and Solution. Founded in 1998, the Nuclear-Free Future Award honors people from around the world who have made an active commitment and contribution to a future free of nuclear power and nuclear weapons. Use the form here to follow the guidelines and submit your nomination. The Award is particularly interested in unsung candidates, especially from the Global South and Indigenous communities. The prize includes a cash award to support the work of the winner. (Lifetime Achievement awards are nominated by the Foundation only.) The deadline for entries is May 31, 2022. Submit your nominations. (Headline photo of Henry Red Cloud winning the 2010 Nuclear-Free Future Award ©Orla Connolly)
