M.V. Ramana and Linda Pentz Gunter were featured together for the August edition of the program Global Read, presented by the Charter for Compassion. Ramana is the author of Nuclear Is Not The Solution. The Folly of Atomic Power In The Age of Climate Change. Pentz Gunter’s book is No To Nuclear. Why Nuclear Power Destroys Lives, Derails Climate Progress And Provokes War . Marking 81 years since the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the pair conversed about how to move the world toward compassion and away from nuclear war, nuclear weapons and nuclear power, all destined to provoke conflict and potentially render the world unlivable. Both offered suggestions for systemic change to achieve this. The program was recorded. Watch below.
