FEB 4: A discussion of energy futures from Oregon to the entire West Coast
Please note a valuable forthcoming opportunity for you, your members, and your networks to hear two of the world’s most knowledgeable energy and nuclear experts. Amory Lovins and Dr. M.V. Ramana, will discuss Oregon’s current energy sources and energy options available for addressing the unfolding climate crisis THIS Friday, February 4, 2022, at 12:00pm to 1:30pm PT.
Oregon’s energy choices will be part of the energy mix shared by the West coast, as Oregon is part of a larger network of interconnected systems from Canada down to Arizona — this discussion, and any decisions it may influence, is relevant for the entire region and potentially beyond.
The event is open to the public and an opportunity for your members and supporters to listen to, and learn from, these preeminent sustainable energy authorities. It is hosted by the City Club of Eugene and there will be a Q&A at the end of the 1-hour program. If watching the livestream you will see a lower third ticker indicating where questions can be texted.
