NCAC: Western Shoshone land ownership contention in opposition to Yucca dump

As the State of Nevada moved to re-open the NRC’s Yucca Mountain dump licensing proceeding, in order to terminate it once and for all, the Native Community Action Council (NCAC) took no position on the motion. NCAC re-asserted its land ownership contention, based on the Western Bands of the Shoshone Nation of Indians’ treaty with the U.S. government, as well as the U.S. constitution.
