On July 7, Amanda Oglesby published an article entitled “Ex-Holtec CFO accuses company of ‘make believe’ financial statements in whistleblower suit,’ in the Asbury Park Press.

See the whistleblower lawsuit, here.

In light of the news about the whistleblower allegations against Holtec, Toledo, OH attorney Terry Lodge, has written Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. See the letter, here. On behalf of Beyond Nuclear and Don’t Waste Michigan, Lodge has urged Whitmer to freeze a $150 million handout from the State of Michigan for Holtec, to use in its unprecedented scheme to restart the closed Palisades reactor in southwest Michigan, on the Lake Michigan shoreline (pictured above).

In addition to the old “zombie” reactor restart scheme, and resistance to Small Modular Nuclear Reactor new builds at Palisades, Lodge also represents Don’t Waste Michigan’s legal efforts against Holtec’s proposed consolidated interim storage facility in New Mexico.

Beyond Nuclear has also appealed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit against Holtec’s NM CISF. Our legal counsel are Diane Curran of Washington, D.C. and Mindy Goldstein of Atlanta, GA.
