Beyond Nuclear Argues Against Recommissioning of Palisades Nuclear Power Plant

Holtec International had been awarded the job of decommissioning the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Michigan, one of the oldest nuclear plants in the country. Kevin Kamps from Beyond Nuclear talks about the plant, and the dangers of Holtec’s plan to re-start the plant with $8 billion in government money, plus $7 billion for two new small reactors. Kamps will be arguing against the plan at a hearing today, February 12, 2025.
